I featured her in my recent London haul Video, & tried on all of the pieces I bought, including trying them on & the ones that I gifted to my friends.
Her pieces inspired me to write my first blog post. Yes, I love her art pieces so much, I appreciate their handmade nature, their juxtaposition and their unique show stopping effect so much, that I felt the urge to not only speak about it on video, but to share it in writing.
Ethically sourced (animals are not slaughtered, they died naturally in the forest and her friends and her go looking for the bones), beautifully made. Just check it out and you will not regret it.
This piece is one of my favourites because it works well as a necklace but also a headpiece worn on the back of the head. This is the jackdaw skull & I love the neutral white, skull handpainted in bronze. It matches the bronze chains and is easy to colour match many outfits because of it's neutral nature.
This jackdaw skull is unique due to it's foiled effect. i love the mised medals effect of the silver chain & silver overlap with gold, green and pink. This hangs quite nicely for rounded or V neck collars and adds an oil spill effect which adds a grungey vibe.
These are Spanish rabbit mandible earrings. Sea green with a metallic gold splatter effect. These earrings are so light, perfect for adding a splash of colour to a spring/summer oufit. I love that the teeth are visible.
This real rabbit skull is handpainted in white & bronze. The double chain & size makes this piece a statement. One of my favourites.
This piece can be worn in all seasons and would look lovely with a low cut top or jumpsuit. Close up of the skull below:
This necklace is made from Rose gold plated aluminium curb chain, which is very light. Kat fastened 4 large rabbit vertebrae which fit nicely together. It can sit below like this, or to the side for a more assymetric look. this is the most wearable piece in my oppinion, but still makes a dramatic statement none the less.
You can see that these dangling real crows beaks look like wishbones. This is what attracted me to these earrings. Extremely light & wearable, I think the neautral colours again, would be a great addition to any outfit.
This is the piece that started it all. The piece that is right behind a racoon's penis. this was the conversation started between Kat & I. What made me love her pieces more, and so I bought two of these, one is a gift. Simple yet interesting. Would you like to wear a boner anyone? Pun completely intended.
This black rabbit bone on the right is a edgy way to compliment a more casula outfit. I like that it adds a bit of grit to an outfit. This is a gift & I am sure the edgy recipient will love it as much as I do.
Hope you enjoyed this Jewellery feast for the eyes.
